When does the extension activate?
It activates on golf manufacturer sites and golf related pages that highlight drivers, irons, wedges, and putters. It’s designed to stay out of the way and only show up when it recognizes you’re viewing golf gear.
Where do the fitting prices come from?
The prices shown are local estimates based on typical fitting rates in that area and the type of fitting being viewed. Actual pricing can vary by fitter, session length, and what’s included, so it’s always smart to confirm directly with the fitter. Club fitter profiles at FittingPros’ website also have actual fitting prices.
Are the prices "real-time" prices?
Not in the sense of live inventory or a live quote. Think of them as a realistic local benchmark so you can plan and compare before you buy.
How does the extension choose my location?
By default it uses your current city (or the closest match available). You can also manually change the location anytime if you’re shopping for a trip, a move, or a different metro area.
Does FittingPros sell golf clubs?
No. FittingPros is not a retailer. The extension is built to help golfers find fitting options and understand typical fitting costs before making a purchase.
Is this an affiliate extension?

Are the fitters "verified"?
FittingPros aims to list legitimate fitting options and provide helpful detail (services, technology, pricing, and location). “Verified” can mean different things in the fitting world. We hand-verify each fitter that is on our website.
Is the extension free?
Yes, the extension is free to install and use.
Does the extension track me?
No. The extension will not collect or use your data. We perform a transient IP-lookup via external APIs to identify your general city and state to provide localized fitting results. We use chrome.storage.local to save your preferred home city and state. This data is stored strictly on your local device and is not transmitted to our servers. Will the extension book an appointment for me?
The extension is meant to help you find fitters and make an informed choice quickly. Booking happens with the fitter.
Why doesn’t the extension show up on every page?
We have built the extension to only show up on pages that matter. Some pages don’t include enough consistent signals to confidently identify the club type or brand. In those cases, the extension may stay silent.
Can I turn it off for specific sites?
You bet! You can manage extension permissions in Chrome anytime and disable it on specific sites or completely.
